Requirements
Tailwheel Endorsement (FAR 61.31(i))
Training must cover normal and crosswind takeoffs/landings, wheel landings, and go-arounds.
No minimum flight hours required, endorsement is given when proficient.
Complex Endorsement (FAR 61.31(e))
Must receive ground and flight training in a complex
airplane (retractable landing gear, flaps, and controllable-pitch propeller).Endorsement is issued once proficiency is demonstrated.
High-Performance Endorsement (FAR 61.31(f))
Required for aircraft with more than 200 HP.
Must completeground and flight training, demonstrating safe operation.

1. What is the purpose of a flight review?
To ensure pilots maintain proficiency and stay updated on regulations.
2. Can I fail a flight review?
No, but you may need additional training if not meeting the standards.
3. Can a checkride substitute for a flight review?
Yes, completing a practical test counts as a flight review.
An IPC also can take the place of a FR
4. Does it renew my medical certificate?
No, medical certification is separate.
5. Do I need my own aircraft for the flight review?
Yes (unless you already have a tailwheel endorsement) then we can use an aeronca champ.
